In a unexpected crossover event that defies traditional predictions, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, including no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.
Strange Questline Disclosed
According to the authorized statement, "A strange encounter draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations echo through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "unusually attired woman named Ada" who tasks the pair with traveling into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a secret cult.
The mission focuses on "peculiar experiments and a monstrous adversary" and is accessible to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Transformations
The preview features the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The preview finishes with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Items and Additional Features
Players who finish the adventure will receive an exclusive katana in addition to several objects secreted throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, including:
- Titan-inspired outfit for Yasuke
- Mikasa outfit for Naoe

Latest Free Story Update
